In this role, you will deliver environmental consulting services to a diverse range of clients across various industries, gaining hands-on experience and developing specialised expertise in Contaminated Land or Occupational Hygiene. We welcome applicants seeking either full-time or part-time roles, offering flexibility to balance your professional and personal life.

This is a great opportunity to help shape a new and expanding office, broaden your experience by working on varied and impactful assignments, and enjoy a coastal lifestyle with easy access to city amenities.

What you’ll be doing:

Delivering projects including tracking project budgets, timelines, and scope to ensure successful completion
Preparing high-quality technical reports and presentations
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated environmental solutions
Contributing to the preparation of proposals and tenders for new opportunities
Maintaining strong client relationships and serving as a point of contact for assigned tasks
Staying up-to-date with the latest environmental regulations, policies and industry trends
Learning from and supporting more experienced staff, gaining expertise in contaminated land or occupational hygiene practices
Contributing to the continuous improvement of ENV Solutions’ offerings and processes
What we’re looking for:

We offer a variety of work arrangements – part-time, or full-time – and are happy to discuss what works best for you.

Environmental Consultants:

Tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline
2+ years of experience in environmental consulting role or similar
Strong skills in planning and carrying out contaminated land assessments and investigations
Proven technical capability with hands-on field experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of clear, concise technical reports
Demonstrated project management or Coordination experience, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic understanding of NSW contaminated land legislation (e.g., NEPM, PFAS NEMP, ANZG), with enthusiasm to expand this knowledge
Some experience in assisting with fee proposals and stakeholder engagement (clients, regulators, etc.)
Proficiency in using relevant software tools (e.g. data analysis, reporting)
Full, current Australian Driver’s Licence (issued by any state or territory)
Occupational Hygiene Consultants:

Tertiary qualification in occupational hygiene, environmental science, or a related discipline

Full, current Australian Driver’s Licence (issued by any state or territory)
Bonus Skills:

Although not essential, the following would be valuable in your role with ENV:

Understanding of NSW contaminated land management legislation and waste management framework.
