Are you passionate about making a difference this summer? This is your chance to tackle critical environmental issues such as preserving old growth forests, protecting endangered wildlife, combating plastic pollution, and ensuring access to clean air and water.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work with Environment America and PIRG, helping build the community support necessary to overcome the challenges we face.
As a canvasser this summer, you will:
• Educate and engage members of your community about vital public interest initiatives.
• Develop valuable communication and advocacy skills.
• Assist in building membership and raising funds for nonprofit organizations.
• Experience leadership opportunities by supervising and managing field staff.
• Gain the knowledge and connections essential for a successful career in nonprofit and policy work.
What We're Looking For:
• Dedicated individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for social change. We are hiring full-time staff only.

Pay: Average earnings of $15.00 - $30.00 per hour. Canvassing staff receive a base pay between $15 and $21.30, with additional earnings potential based on fundraising success, allowing for average total earnings exceeding $20 per hour. Staff are guaranteed at least minimum wage for all hours worked. Performance and location may influence earnings within the range of $15 to $30 per hour.
