Our client, Exhaust Hygiene Services Pty Ltd, trading as Efficient Hygiene Services (EHS), is a specialist provider of HVAC hygiene and remediation solutions, focused on enhancing indoor air quality in commercial and industrial settings. With expertise in air conditioning cleaning, ductwork and mould remediation, EHS operates across Queensland and New South Wales, delivering tailored, high-quality services to meet diverse client needs.
EHS is currently seeking an experienced Equipment Hire Manager to join its growing team on a full-time basis. This hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of EHS’s specialised equipment rental operations, ensuring optimal service delivery to commercial, industrial, and residential clients across Queensland and New South Wales. This role plays a critical part in supporting field operations and maintaining the company’s reputation for high-quality indoor air hygiene solutions. A competitive salary package of AUD 70-80K plus superannuation is available for the right candidate.
SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
Oversee the hiring and leasing of specialised equipment, including air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air mover fans, to businesses in a range of industries, accommodating their resources and needs.
Track, maintain and forecast stock levels of rental equipment, ensuring availability for clients across interstate areas, and manage the demand for the inventory throughout the year.
Maintain customer relations by providing expert advice on equipment selection and usage for commercial, industrial, and residential clients needing air quality solutions.
Supervise bookings, dispatch, transport, and returns to ensure timely delivery and efficient hire cycles.
Collaborate within the team between field technicians and external stakeholders to coordinate equipment needs for on-site projects and lease inventory.
Ensure all rental equipment is regularly inspected. cleaned, maintained, and serviced to meet safety and operational standards before each hire.
Maintain compliance with industry health and safety regulations related to equipment handling, hygiene standards, and air quality control.
Manage rental pricing, optimise costs, and ensure service offerings remain competitive and profitable.
Coordinate the transportation logistics, delivery, and collection of hired equipment to ensure timely service for clients across multiple locations.
Maintain accurate hire agreements, service logs, inspections, and financial records for audit and compliance.
Identify and work on emerging opportunities to enhance hiring systems, support business growth, and contribute to service innovation in the business module.
TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU SHOULD HAVE
Minimum 2 years’ experience in equipment hire, HVAC hygiene, remediation, or a related operational role.
A qualification in business administration, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to support a diverse client base.
Sound knowledge of equipment handling procedures and workplace health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
