Equipment Mechanic (not heavy)
We are seeking an energetic Equipment Mechanic to join our La Porte, TX team, who can change direction at a moment’s notice to maintain all mobile equipment to include but not limited to repairs, diagnosis, and troubleshooting. Performs daily preventative maintenance as assigned by supervisor.

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all timesDisassemble/Reassemble heavy and mobile equipment to troubleshoot, diagnose and repairFabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as neededTroubleshoot, repair and test all equipment to ensure functionality Utilize propylene cutting rigRepair equipment using MIG and/or stick weldingOther duties as assignedEnter data for repairs, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, inventory check out and timeComplete daily work and training on computers What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?High School Diploma or equivalent3+ years’ experience with mobile equipment repairDiesel Certification requiredAir Conditioning Certification or equivalent requiredCaterpillar or Kubota certifications or education a plus!Hydraulics Systems repairMust understand schematics to troubleshoot 12&24v systemsAbility to use a cutting rig (propylene cutting torch)Valid Drivers’ LicenseComputer literateJoin our team today!
