Responsibilities

• Conduct diesel engine repairs, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Fabricate parts and components as necessary to complete repairs.
• Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Conduct inspections of air brake systems and other critical components to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during repair operations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety practices.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance, specifically with heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and practices.
• Familiarity with construction equipment and automotive repair is preferred.
• Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and techniques.
• Experience operating heavy equipment safely is essential.
• Knowledge of air brake systems is a plus.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
