Job Description

The successful candidate will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated traffic enforcement technology.

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic individual who can hit the ground running. This position requires some travel, working both on-site in our office and on-location in various communities throughout Alberta.

Major Accountabilities (Including but not limited to the following)
• Technical and Operations support
• Provide daily support on all equipment, including operational hardware.
• Ensure availability of necessary equipment and manage inventory of replacement parts and backup equipment.
• Maintain a robust inventory database of all equipment and parts.
• Responsible for procuring shop supplies, parts, and replacement equipment as directed.
• Assist with installing and servicing intersection cameras and other street-mounted equipment.
• Monitor equipment daily to ensure they are fully operational and address deficiencies.
• Provide calibration and testing services on equipment as required by the legislation and guidelines.
• Support and assist various departments as directed by the manager.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Other tasks assigned.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma; additional technical certifications or vocational training in electronics or a related field is preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Individuals with safety certification to work at heights or with fall protection will be given additional consideration.

Technical skills:
• Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and provide clear instructions.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in using MS Office Suite, Office365 and other technology.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Strong evidence of time management skills.

Work Conditions:
• This position is a full-time, 40hr/week requirement
• This position works 8hr shifts, Monday to Friday (5 x 2)
• After hours/on-call support, as required
