The role holder will be responsible for driving all workforce change, policy and wellbeing activities in the ER function supporting all legal entities across India. The incumbent will work in compliance with Barclays policies and India employment law, and mitigate ER and change risks. The role holder will support business stakeholders with the delivery of Change Programmes for India, balancing technical input with practical and commercial advice. They will be responsible for developing and managing all ER policies in India, ensuring they are reflective of legal requirements, best practice and organisational culture. They will also support the health and wellbeing strategy at Barclays, ensuring improved colleague experience. They will need to have a focus on continuous improvement and continuing to deliver a high quality service to the business whist simplifying process and making activities more efficient. Additionally, the incumbent will have a core client group within the HR community and senior leaders and will be expected to partner with them on a day-to-day basis under the leadership of the VP. What will you be doing Work with ER Lead and business leaders to implement special projects within the geographic region including organisational change initiatives. In particular, this will involve providing specialist advice to HRBPs and Line Managers from assigned business areas on change and restructuring programmes, and contractual changes. Key areas include: Legislative requirements Change management governance and process control Execution of specific change projects: Preparation of business case and rationale Stakeholder engagement Selection and benchmarking processes Employee communications Quality assurance What we're looking for: Experience of managing the people implications of ER Matters across employment law revisions, ER policy development, ER training development / upskilling and end to end change management. Broad experience of Change Management programmes and processes including but not limited to best practice in relation to redundancy programmes,
