ERO Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Emergency Response Officer / Call Center Agent to join SumeetSSG India Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to emergency call center operations such as Dial 108, 112, or 100, with strong preference for Dial 108 Maharashtra experience.
This role involves handling emergency calls, gathering critical information, coordinating with response teams, and ensuring timely assistance during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive and handle emergency calls (Dial 108) professionally and calmly
• Collect accurate caller details such as location, nature of emergency, and patient/incident information
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for emergency response
• Coordinate with ambulance teams, control room, and field operations
• Log all calls and actions accurately in the system
• Escalate critical cases as per defined protocols
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with empathy
• Meet performance, quality, and response-time targets
Job Requirements
• Education: Any Graduate
• Experience:
• 0 – 2 years in call center or emergency response
• Preferred: Prior experience in Dial 108 (especially Maharashtra), Dial 112, or Police Control Room (100)
• Comfortable working in 247 shift environment (rotational shifts)
• Willing to work 6 days a week
• Good communication skills (Marathi mandatory, Hindi & basic English preferred)
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergency situations
Technical Skills Required
• Basic computer operation (Windows OS)
• Keyboard, mouse, and headset usage
• Real time data entry and typing
• Call handling systems / IP phones
• MS Word / Excel (basic)
• Emergency call-taking software (preferred)

• Job Type: Full-time, On-site
