About Us:
Cognition Escapes is a top-rated escape room company in Downtown Seattle. We’re looking for an Escape Room Supervisor to lead our team and raise the bar on hospitality, service, and consistency across every shift.
Position Overview
The Escape Room Supervisor is the day-to-day leader of the operation and the owner of the guest experience. You’ll coach and manage a team of Game Masters, keep games running smoothly, and make sure every group leaves genuinely happy. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a people-first environment, can read a room, solve problems quickly, and turn “good” experiences into “wow” moments.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience
Create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest
Set the service standard: friendliness, professionalism, enthusiasm, and consistency
Handle guest issues with calm, professional judgment and turn problems into positive outcomes
Track guest feedback and coach the team on improvements
Team Leadership
Train, schedule, and support a team of Game Masters
Build a high-energy, supportive culture with clear expectations
Coach staff on guest engagement, conflict resolution, and confident hosting
Daily Operations
Master all games to ensure smooth monitoring, timely hints, and great pacing
Oversee shift operations, room resets, opening/closing duties, and cleaning routines
Step in when last-minute coverage is needed
Monitor inventory and help minimize downtime from recurring issues
Qualifications
Strong customer service background with a track record of guest satisfaction
2+ years of team leadership experience (hospitality or entertainment preferred)
Calm, professional communicator under pressure
Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Evening and weekend availability required
Bonus
Escape room or themed entertainment experience
Hands-on repair skills (basic tools, electronics, props)
