About the Role:
As a freelance ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) consultant, you will partner with small and medium enterprises (SMEs), startups, and corporations to help them develop and implement sustainable business strategies aligned with global ESG standards. Your expertise will support clients in improving their environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices to meet regulatory requirements and attract sustainable investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ESG assessments and gap analyses for clients’ current operations.
Develop customized ESG frameworks and sustainability policies.
Guide clients in setting measurable ESG goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support ESG reporting aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD.
Advise on ESG risk management and compliance with local and international standards.
Provide training workshops to client teams on ESG best practices and stakeholder engagement.
Facilitate sustainable supply chain evaluations and ESG due diligence.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations.
Experience working with diverse industries on sustainability initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects.
Relevant certifications in sustainability, CSR, or ESG are a plus.
