The IPB DPM team provides a broad offering of standard and tailored discretionary solutions ranging from single- to multi-asset approaches, benchmark to total-return performance aims and special solutions such as ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) to clients globally. The Mumbai team supports the business with various non client facing aspects and is an integral part of the global team.

Key responsibilities:
• Research
• As part of the DPM / Investment management support team globally, support research and analysis for identifying sustainable investment opportunities with the focus on converting large parts of the DPM to ESG investments on the path to net zero.
• Financial and Sustainability Modeling
• Create / support design and development of detailed financial and sustainability models to measure impact on valuations of portfolios
• Take complete ownership of maintaining and updating all financial and sustainability models to measure impact on portfolio valuations
• Undertake relevant scenario analysis, data mining, data quality and harmonization topics to aid sound results from the models
• Data reporting
• Create and update presentations, dashboards and other MIS on climate scenarios
• Generate meaningful insights with good data visualization
• Develop data flow into Finance with ESG field/s, SDG field/s and Conversion field/s
• Define minimum standards to allow for (regional) comparison of data
• Support Finance in the implementation of the enhanced control environment.
• Enhance product-related information available in system to allow for Product reporting at one level below Investments
• Work with a multi-location team spread across geographies in a coordinated approach
• Build relationships, co-ordinate and engage with Compliance and various other teams across the value chain
Key skills & qualifications:
• University degree in Finance, Management or similar
• Knowledge about sustainability pillars, environment science preferred
• Proven financial modeling and analysis skills
• Solid writing and data visualization skills with ability to handle bespoke projects
• Good understanding of international norms related to ESG, responsible investment and sustainability
• Knowledge of programming languages like R, Python or VBA will be an added advantage
