Responsibilities
The ESOL Instructor will work as part of our Integration Team and with various team members in the development and implementation of high quality English language instruction
This may include assisting with various administrative tasks, as well as direct services provided to USCRI”s clients
Delivering classroom ESOL instruction to participants from various ages, backgrounds and languages and with a wide range of abilities,
Helping coordinate the efficient deliver of services by ESOL partner organizations; including assisting with registration, monitoring attendance and student achievement,
Communicate client needs to case managers and assisting with resources and supplemental services to meet client needs,
Collaborate with case manager and other staff personnel to confirm appropriate services are in place,
Assist team members with program development to suite the needs of current and future USCRI clients,
Identify impactful solutions to issues, trends and challenges with ESOL delivery,
Professionally represent USCRI amongst peers and partner organizations through meetings, conferences and training opportunities,
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
• TESOL/TEFL certification or a teaching license strongly preferred;
• Experience in delivering ESOL instruction in classroom or community-based settings;
• Prior experience in working with refugee populations is preferred;
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with providers, vendors, and clients of diverse backgrounds;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and database programs a plus;
• Bilingual/multilingual ability is strongly preferred;
• Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record and personal transportation;
• Must have dedication to human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers, and displaced people.
• Good sense of humor and pleasant, diplomatic manner is desired.
