About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for an Estimating and Pricing Manager to join our Maritime Acquisition team. Reporting to our Senior Estimating & Pricing Manager, this role is responsible for leading the resolution of complex cost and pricing challenges, leveraging your commercial insight and leadership to deliver solutions with clear financial, project, and customer impact.
This role will be based at our Osborne Shipyard office in South Australia.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia such as a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the delivery of bids and proposals as directed by the business
Work collaboratively with the Bid Team to ensure the delivery of accurate, value-for-money proposals to the Commonwealth of Australia
Produce robust pricing by planning, managing and supporting the estimate build-up in accordance with BAE Systems Australia E&P processes, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) Cost & Profit Principals and applying best practice methodologies
