Job Title- Officer Branch Banking -Delhi (Non-Corporate Title)

Role Description
Term Deposit process and Branch Banking operations will be the primary responsibility of the candidate, which will include counter management, processing of domestic and FX payments & Collections, handling of customers and regulatory queries. The responsibility requires end to end governance of branch operations, tracking of day end reconciliations of various accounts, managing and coordinating with the vendors, reporting of funds flow etc. Need to ensure strict adherence to regulatory & internal cut-offs/timelines, internal and external stake holder management and monitoring of vendor performance

Your key responsibilities
• Monitoring of Term Deposit Process, Regulatory Reporting’s. Vendor Management for Term Deposit Processing.
• Monitoring and managing of branch counter which includes end to end control of cheques and other documents over the counter throughout the day.
• Processing of domestic and FX transactions within cut-off. (RTGS, NEFT, House Transfer, Remittances – Inward and Outward, DD Issuance, DD Cancellations, Stop Payments etc.
• Governance of Term Deposit process.
• Ensure funds flow reporting are done accurately and on time.
• Ensure FX inflows are reported to the customers within time and track for the receipt and report of the transaction purpose (Pcode)
• Ensure all customer queries are attended and responded on time.
• All regulatory related queries are to be attended and responded as desired by the authorities.
• Ensure to manage and respond to internal and external stake holders on various asks.
• Ensure to monitor and reconcile branch security stationary stocks.
• Support to be extended to cheque clearing activities
• Attend General body meeting as conducted by RBI on periodic intervals
• Monitor the branch internal and nostro accounts. Escalate and resolve differences if any.
• Monitor and ensure no breaks breach the internal KRI
• Ensure monitoring and governance of vendor related/supported activities
• Various Certificate requests for customers to be attended and issued on time.
• Ensure to follow the Key operating producers of the branch operations
Your skills and experience
• The roles is critical in the overall transaction management, supervision and governance of the activity.
• Requires in depth product knowledge of Term Deposit Process and branch banking (domestic and FX transaction related)
• Ability to communicate clearly to all stakeholders. Good command of written and spoken English.
• Bachelor degree or above in business administration, finance, accounting or related disciplines
• Able to work independently and work and a good team player.
• Similar experience in the process will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Term Deposit Process required.
