Engine assembly mechanic will be responsible for all engine assembly related activities and support to all projects
Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION :
• Engine assembly mechanic will be responsible for all engine assembly related activities and support to all projects
• The Role is to maintain all Engine assembly & Engine servicing related activities smooth
• Work on the all assigned tasks as per daily and weekly planning of Engine assembly
• Ensuring the smooth operations of Engine assembly as per project time line
• Complete the tasks as per SOP and check sheet of Engine assembly for all project models
• Fault finding, troubleshooting and its analysis
• Engine servicing
• Checking of tools wear and tear and maintain record of its consumption
• Ensuing the availability of Engine Oil, Fuel, tools, Gloves, consumables etc.
• Ensuring zero accidents and identify the hazards practices and rectify, ensure the safe work environment,
• Ensuring test engineers should work with all safety measures i.e. safety shoes, safety nears in the test cell
• Engine alignment on engine test beds with precision to avoid measurement losses in readings during testing.
Skills Information
Desired Technical / Functional Competencies :
• Knowledge of Higher CC two wheeler engine
• In depth knowledge of Engine assembly, parts inspection
• Knowledge of Engine assembly with all sequential parameters
• High skill set for measurement of engine specification check of all the engines
• High skill set required for mounting / dismounting of engines on different Test Cells
• Fault finding, troubleshooting and its analysis
• In depth knowledge of inspection tools i.e. automatic torque wrench, height gauge, Vernier etc.
• Very Good knowledge of Valve timing, ignition timing and compression ratio
• Torque, float and measurements of all sub assembly measuring parameters before engine assembly
• Verifying engine components w.r.t BOM after receiving from store
