About The Department
Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 700+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Cross IT department is an integral part of the DD&IT and is responsible for managing development, support and maintenance processes for Analytics, Integration, Data management and Automation solutions for all Regions in Novo Nordisk.
The position
As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for development and operations tasks associated with ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Model N system which requires functional & technical knowledge. In addition, you will be responsible to conduct and document unit and integration tests for incidents and change requests along with production code design optimization and process simplification. You need to collaborate and communicate with external parties and primarily users and represent NovoNordisk in relations with users and external stakeholders.
• You will be responsible for performing development and support tasks, performing various tests, working on CRs & documentation.
• Responsible for using Agile way of working and Azure dev-ops tool.
• Responsible to ensure that all data is loaded successfully and performed various repetitive data load on application and database level and troubleshooting and notify the business about the Model N batch process dataflow and job issues.
• Expected to provide continuous support and certificate upgradation activities as per the changes with working on Unix shell scripting and modification for SFTP to downstream systems as per the requirements.
• The role would entail working with Model N system and to ensure that other systems and reports are running efficiently on monthly bases.
Qualification
• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Computer Science, and Business Administration) and relevant business experience.
• Should have overall 6-10 years of IT experience with high focus on development and support activity.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle is required with Agile model and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience on ETL tool i.e.- Informatica PowerCenter .
• Good to have Informatica Cloud knowledge.
• Strong experience with RDBMS concept: Oracle, SQL server
• Experience with Operation Systems of Windows or Linux
• Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL query and data modelling.
• Very good scripting experience: batch script, shell script.
• Experience on Amazon Web Services - S3 bucket, (Good to have).
• Reporting skills using QlikView or Qlik sense(Good to have).
• ITIL foundation certified(Good to have).
• Excellent communication skills written and orally in English.
