Job Summary As a Software Engineer III in the Equity Finance Technology team of the Corporate & Investment Banking business at JPMorgan Chase , you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. Job Responsibilities • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems • Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems • Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development • Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience. • Exposure to complex sql joins, correlated sub-queries, aggregate functions analytic functions, materialized views, indexing, partitioning and performance tuning using explain plan etc. • ETL Architecture (preferably Informatica), Analysis, design, development, testing, implementation • Maintenance and support of Enterprise level Data Integration • Data Warehouse concepts and implementation • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills • Understanding of architecture and design across systems • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
