Job Description
This position is for a hands-on software engineer very conversant with ETL realm and technology solution. The responsibility of the candidate will be the following:
1. Identify and Implement opportunities to build/improve processes, standards and overall ETL system.
2. Develop/implement the ETL solution using PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), python, Oracle, Redshift, Postgres.
3. Develop and implement solutions pertaining to data load performance, audit/logging, load balancing, control and error handling framework.
4. Build taskflow and data pipeline using IICS with implementation knowledge of advance complex transformations.
5. Create estimates, plan and execute project(s) related to ETL solutioning.
6. Well verse with data warehousing, ETL and on-premise/cloud warehouse solutions.

Desired Skillsets
1. Min of 7 years of IT experience with an equivalent degree in Information Science/Computer Science
2. Min of 5 years hands on experience with informatica product suite like PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
3. in depth knowledge with ETL tool(s) implementation with performance tuning approaches.
4. Hands-on experience and good knowledge on SQL query/tuning and database concepts.
5. Knowledge and understanding of the data warehouse concepts and conceptual knowledge or experience of on-premise/cloud warehouse solutions.
6. Good hands-on any of the programming/scripting like python/java/shell scripting.
7. Excellent writing and communication skills
