Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time , will have a start and end date.

Introduction:
• Ability to understand the business and technical requirements
• Have the ability to translate functional and technical requirements into technical design
• Research and analyse resources available in the market
• Produce prototypes, create customized software, oversee testing and implement design changes
• Creative ideas to design robust and sustainable designs
• System design including elaboration of the interface definition, performance and controls
• Working closely with tech team, architect team and business analysis team to implement the solution as per the new design and work through revisions.
• Write specifications to explain new content and consider feedback for documentation.
• Working closely with the Data Governance / CDO team to understand the Critical Data Element (CDE) and their impact on Data Quality issues and also SOX /DQ controls
• Performing gap analysis between existing SOX/DQ controls and the data governance/data reconciliation tool capability
• Ensuring of data quality issues are being monitored and tracked to closure
What will you be doing?
• Design and plan the solutions and features that realize the vision of design/architect leadership.
• Adapt and align with organization long term strategy and roadmap to be able to implement the right design
• Help create and maintain living design documentation that keeps pace with the project's progress and accurately conveys all necessary information to design and program.
• Create working design documents used in the course of implementation and that aid in the development of QA test plans.
• Building good hold on ETL applications technically and functionally knowing in and out of application
• Understanding the requirement, performing analysis and converting it into test scenarios and test cases
• Leading and performing end-to-end build and delivery of the systems including functional and technical validations
• Co-ordinating and communicating directly with technical teams and Finance stakeholders
• Manage/ escalate risks and issues to resolution. Implement solutions to prevent repetition of known/new issues/risks and share knowledge of lessons learned
What we're looking for:
• Expert in various design tools like MS Visio Diagram
• Ability ot work independently or as part of a team
• Well aware of latest tools and technologies in the current market and ability to use knowledge in designing.
• Strong SQL writing and data analytical skills on ETL/Data warehousing solutions
• Good knowledge of ETL Tools – Ab> Initio, RDBMS, Hadoop, Cloud
• Exposure to Devops tools and lean methodology.
• Proven track record of data analytics and designing skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills dealing directly with senior stakeholders
• Ability to work on a number of tasks on a variety of different projects at the same time
Ability to build effective relationships with technical team and stakeholders
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Tech Designer certifications
• Certification in AWS technologies
• Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
• Previous experience within Finance, Treasury and Risk functions
• Able to solve problems with data to understand relevance of it to the wider objective
