Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesTesting data validation scenarios, data ingestion pipelines, and transformation processes.Utilizing automated testing tools and applying information governance principles in a testing capacity.Automating tests across multiple platforms and technologies throughout the development lifecycle.Managing test cases and handling issue and defect management.Testing systems that capture, verify, and maintain field-generated metadata.Working with various backend and frontend languages, libraries, databases, web servers, web services, APIs, and UI/UX design.Applying modern testing practices and integrating testing tools with platforms like GitLab.Leveraging Agile software development testing methods for cloud-based deployments.Must-Have SkillsInsurance Domain Knowledge Mainframe Background – Experience in extracting files from Mainframes (MF) and comparing them in DB2.Python – Essential for automation and scripting tasks.Databases – Proficiency in DB2, Aurora SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Databricks, and Snowflake.Reporting Tools – Expertise in Power BI, SSRS, and SSIS for report testing.Messaging & Events – Familiarity with SNS, SQS, and Kafka for event-driven architectures.ETL Tool – Hands-on experience with Informatica for ETL processes.AWS Cloud – Knowledge of AWS services, including S3.
