Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled EUC (End User Computing) engineer to join our End User Computing team at the Hyderabad office of D. E. Shaw India. The team focuses on platforms and applications in the Windows desktop, and mobile environment. EUC uses a combination of technologies, policies, and processes to provide users with the means to access applications, desktops, and data efficiently and securely. Our globally distributed EUC engineers manage and leverage various technologies in the space of remote access, endpoint management, mobility, and user-productivity to deliver value to our distributed workforce. We foster an automation-driven culture, utilizing PowerShell and Python to increase efficiency, reliability and scalability of our systems and processes. The team collaborates closely with Platforms, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), Application Engineering and Helpdesk teams, and serves as an escalation point for technology solutions and processes in the user space.
