Key Responsibilities
1. Understanding Student Profiles and Desired Courses
• Initial Consultation & Interest and Strength Assessment:
• Schedule a meeting to discuss the student's academic background, interests, and career goals.
• Evaluate their academic records, test scores (like SAT, GRE, TOEFL, IELTS), and extracurricular activities.
• Use assessments or questionnaires to understand their interests and strengths.
• Discuss various fields of study and their future prospects.
2. Assisting with University/College and Program Selection
• Research, Shortlisting & Application requirements:
• Research universities and colleges that offer the desired courses.
• Consider factors such as university ranking, location, tuition fees, faculty, and campus facilities.
• Shortlist institutions that match the student's profile and preferences.
• Review the admission requirements for each shortlisted institution.
• Keep track of application deadlines and other critical dates.
Qualifications
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in Study Abroad counselling.
• Counselling students for overseas education in countries like Germany, France, USA, and other European countries.
• Good in MS Office, CRM, Analytics/Numbers, and metrics.
