Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in communications, marketing, project and/or event planning and coordination, or other related field.
• The ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines and the ability to interact professionally with external donors and constituents is necessary to adequately fulfill job responsibilities.
• Ability to attend on and off-campus events.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when applicable.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
Position Purpose
To provide support for School of Nursing events and special projects, including but not limited to, the Nightingale Awards for Nursing Excellence, Undergraduate and Graduate Pinning Ceremonies, Scholarship Reception, and Student Events.
Job Duties
• Plan, coordinate, set up and attend School of Nursing events as assigned.
• Work with School of Nursing marketing as needed for event collateral.
• Maintain and update event project management records, files and budgets.
• Provide event summary/analysis for each event.
• Coordinate, set up, attend and take/maintain minutes for the Board of Visitors meetings.
• Additional hours up to 2+ hrs. per week may be required for a limited time while working on large scale events.
