Position Summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Liverpool City Centre are looking for a passionate, dedicated and ambitious Event Coordinator to join the Sales & Marketing Team Full Time at this prestigious 4 hotel.

The Delta Hotels by Marriott Liverpool City Centre is just one of over 8,000 Marriott Hotels globally and sits in the Classic Premium category of Marriott’s 31+ brands. This City Centre, bustling 4 Star hotel is located in the heart of the city, opposite St Georges Hall and next to the main shopping and dining districts, transport hubs and only a 10 minutes’ walk to the iconic Albert Docks and waterfront attractions. Situated across the road from Liverpool Lime Street Station and the city’s main bus station the hotel is conveniently placed and easily accessible for our guests and associates. The adjacent QPark car park, with complimentary parking for our associates. Your Role
• Is responsible for incoming enquiries, from conversion through to seamless transition to operations for event execution and back to sales.
• Managing multiple inboxes and communicating frequently with clients.
• Organising clients events and working closely with other departments to ensure these are executed without flaw.
• Managing accounts and finances.
• Provides excellent customer service through every element of the event or group enquiry, utilising strong selling skills.
• Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high level service through pre–event, during event and post event.
• Recognises opportunities to maximise revenue, conversion and drive repeat business.
• Takes personal responsibility to adhere to sales and event brand standards for enquiry handling, event planning, pre & post-event.
