Job Title: Event Coordinator for Malls
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events in Malls. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to ensure that each event is executed seamlessly and exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize events from start to finish according to client requirements, target audience, and objectives.
• Develop event proposals, including timelines, budgets, and venue options, and present them to clients for approval.
• Coordinate with vendors, such as caterers, florists, fabricators, photographers, and AV technicians, to ensure all aspects of the event are in place.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms.
• Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, transportation, accommodations, and on-site coordination.
• Oversee event set-up, tear-down, and cleanup to ensure a smooth and efficient execution.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and vendors throughout the planning process and on the day of the event.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in event planning or coordination, with a portfolio of successful events.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate event schedules.
• Creativity and attention to detail to ensure each event is unique and memorable.
