JUSTIN Vineyards is looking for a full-time Event Coordinator to join our Group Sales team in Hospitality. Our luxury events program is expanding, and we’re seeking an experienced planner ready to excel in this space. Under the direction of the Event Manager, the Coordinator will lead a team of banquet staff and assist in organizing public events. It's an exciting opportunity to elevate your event planning career in the luxury market.

The Event Coordinator supports all aspects of event execution and administration, from communicating event details to the operations team and coordinating staff duties to ensuring the correct use of equipment. Working alongside our Event Manager, you’ll be the on-site contact during events, guiding staff through setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring seamless food and wine service, and catering to the needs of our guests at lunches, dinners, and events both on- and off-site.

Due to the nature of the events business, night and weekend work will be required regularly. This role is based at 11680 Chimney Rock Rd, Paso Robles, CA +3446.

Job Description
• Planning events from sales turnover to event execution.
• Serve alongside the Event Manager as the on-site contacts during events, jointly ensuring flawless execution.
• Prepare comprehensive event documentation.
• Utilize event management software for internal and external communication (TripleSeat and iVvy).
• Ensure billing accuracy and review charges with clients before finalizing the bill.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of public events held on the property.
• Organize and delegate tasks before, during, and after events to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise with the culinary team and banquet management for seamless event coordination.
• Coordinate with external vendors (musicians, florists, rental companies) related to events and communications.
• Assist other hospitality departments with operations, outreach, sales processes, or guest services as needed.
• Support food and beverage administration and operations at The Restaurant at JUSTIN during slower event periods.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years in customer service; event or banquet experience preferred.
• Passion for wine and the wine industry. Wine certification (e.g., CSW, WSET) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with people at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $26.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
