We are seeking an experienced Event Management professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, with a proven track record of managing events and incidents in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement event management processes to ensure efficient incident response and resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process gaps and knowledge management system issues
• Provide expert guidance on ITIL framework and service management best practices
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A ServiceNow certification is highly desirable.

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of overall industry experience preferred
• 3-5 years in Command & Control Centre / NOC / SOC
• Hands-on experience in 24x7 global IT operations
• Prior roles as IT Operations/Monitoring Specialist or Event Management Lead
• Proficient in monitoring tools such as Datadog, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Strong hands-on experience in Event Management and Incident Management modules
• IT Infrastructure Knowledge
• Exposure to hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud), with understanding of network, compute, storage, virtualization
• Automation / AI/ML
• BASIC understanding or exposure to SRE, AIOps, ML/automation tools for IT operations is a plus
• Certifications
• ITIL v3/v4 certification is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Industry Background
• Service-based industry background is a nice-to-have
Process Knowledge:
• Strong process knowledge with practical application of Incident, Problem, and Event Management
• Ticketing Systems
• Must be proficient in ServiceNow workflows and reporting
• Knowledge Gap Identification
• Ability to recognize and act on process or documentation gaps in knowledge management systems
