Fairfest Media, the organizer of OTM, TTF and BLTM is an established leader in travel trade shows in India, serving governments and businesses from over 100 countries.
Fairfest’s flagship travel event is OTM, which is well-recognised as Asia’s leading travel show.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Director to lead the planning, development and launch of new high-impact events across diverse sectors, as well as supporting the growth of our flagship events. This senior role is ideal for a visionary leader who is eager to expand Fairfest Media’s event portfolio and strengthen its position as a market leader in the exhibitions industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic planning and execution of flagship events including OTM, TTF, and BLTM.
• Take ownership of conceptualizing and launching new trade shows across different industry sectors or regions.
• Develop and drive growth strategies to expand Fairfest’s presence in the B2B events landscape, both within India and abroad.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, operations, content, and production.
• Collaborate with government tourism boards, global travel brands, associations, and institutional partners.
• Drive revenue generation through sponsorships, exhibition sales, and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee event budgets, performance tracking, and operational efficiency.
• Explore and implement innovations in event formats, technology, and customer experience.
• Ensure all events comply with legal, safety, and operational standards.
• Represent Fairfest Media in industry events, forums, and meetings.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale B2B exhibitions or conferences, including new show development.
• Demonstrated leadership in launching and scaling successful events.
• Strong strategic, operational, and financial planning skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working with international partners and government clients is highly desirable.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of industry trends and opportunities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
