The Rowing Association of Western Australia Inc is the State Sporting Association responsible for promoting and governing rowing throughout Western Australia. The association aims to involve more people in the sport, deliver a positive experience, and provide high-performance pathways.
Position Overview
This role will oversee the day-to-day delivery of regattas and events, drive member engagement through effective communication strategies, and develop initiatives to enhance recruitment and retention pathways for clubs, coaches, officials, and athletes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging content across digital platforms, maintain a consistent online presence, and ensure timely dissemination of information to members, stakeholders, and the public. Forge close working relationships with affiliated bodies, staff, volunteers, and key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A highly motivated individual with strong communication, relationship-building, event management, and organizational skills. Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a small team environment. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
