Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Manager to oversee our events from conception through to completion. The Event Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating vendors, overseeing event budgets, and ensuring that events run smoothly and meet clients’ expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate various events, including weddings, corporate events, trade shows, and private parties.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives.
- Develop event concepts and themes that align with the client’s goals and vision.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best quotes and services.
- Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual equipment.
- Create and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses remain within the allocated budget.
- Coordinate staffing requirements and supervise event staff, including caterers, security, and event decorators.
- Oversee event setup, scheduling, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and venues to ensure seamless execution of future events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Event Manager or relevant role in event planning and management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
