We are looking for a passionate and experienced Event Manager to help us bring our events to life across our school network.
About the Role: As our Event Manager, you will play a key role in organizing and delivering a variety of events that enrich the lives of our students, parents, and staff. We’re looking for someone creative, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. Your work will ensure that every event we host is a success, leaving a lasting impact on our school community.
What You’ll Do:
• Plan, coordinate, and manage a wide range of school events, from academic and cultural to sports and community gatherings.
• Work closely with the school teams to understand the goals and needs of each event.
• Connect with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure everything is delivered on time and within budget.
• Build strong relationships with community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance our events.
• Create and share event communications with parents, students, and staff, such as invitations, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Use social media and other digital tools to promote events and engage with our school community.
• Keep everyone involved in the loop with clear and consistent communication.
• Oversee every aspect of the event, from setup to teardown, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Lead and manage event staff, volunteers, and contractors to deliver a seamless event experience.
• Manage any challenges that come up during events with quick and effective solutions.
• Reflect on each event with post-event evaluations to learn what worked well and what can be improved.
• Collect feedback from attendees and stakeholders to continuously improve our events.
• Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, including attendance, budget, and overall satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
• A Post Graduate degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• With minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in event planning and management, ideally within an educational or similar environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple events at once.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed and open to travel.
