Position: Event Manager

Job Summary: The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from conception to completion. This role involves liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful event delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for creating high-quality events.
Key Responsibilities: - Event Planning & Execution:
Develop event concepts and themes in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
Create detailed event plans, timelines, and schedules.
Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accuracy.
Vendor Coordination:
Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
Coordinate logistics with vendors, including catering, entertainment, AV equipment, decor, and transportation.
Ensure vendors deliver services on time and to the expected quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of event progress and any issues.
Gather client feedback post-event to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
On-site Management:
Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown.
Manage event staff and volunteers, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during events and provide quick resolutions.
Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels.
Develop promotional materials, including invitations, brochures, and social media content.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all events comply with legal, health, and safety regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
