Job Description
Lilah (CNS Event Partners LLC) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Event Manager to join our team. The event manager reports directly to Partner/Owners and the Director of Events. They will play a crucial role in the ongoing development of new catering business and promotion of venue spaces, as well as managing the coordination and execution of events. Company events include but are not limited to corporate gatherings, milestone occasions, and weddings. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities for an Event Manager include:
• Day to day operations: focus on administrative activities such as answering incoming event leads via Partyslate, Tripleseat or the events mailbox; replying to new inquiries within 24 hours; preparing proposals and contracts; answering client questions to ensure the execution of a smooth and successful event; and hosting tours across all CNS Event Partners locations.
• Coordination: coordinate all aspects of events with the sales team including ordering event rentals, finalizing BEOs with clients and vendors, ensuring that COI’s have been collected by all outside vendors, coordinating a/v and catering needs with the Back of House team, and on-site management of events.
• Team Management: communicate by email the BEO, floor plan, and “to do” list for the scheduled teams across both locations (Lilah - Fishtown and the Weitzman Museum); direct and manage staff during events.
• Tastings: host tasting menu calls and tasting dinners as needed.
Offsite catering experience required. Felxible schedule preferred, weekend availability manadatory. Must be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
Salary range: $60,000-65,000 per year, based on experience.
