Job Description
The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a vibrant entertainment venue. This role requires a strong leader who can ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, deliver exceptional customer service, and effectively manage staff and resources to maintain the highest standards of operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily venue operations, including bar, restaurant, and function activities, ensuring seamless execution of events.
- Implement and monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
- Assess and review customer satisfaction by collecting and acting on feedback to improve service delivery and operational performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in managing operations within a licensed venue, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of liquor laws and occupational health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Proven leadership skills, including managing and training staff, with a focus on developing a high-performing team.
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and stock control, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to minimizing losses.
- Current Victorian Responsible Service of ******* (RSA) certificate, demonstrating a commitment to responsible service practices.
