Event Manager /Event Coordinator/Event Operation
2 - 5 Yrs experience in operations profile, ideally in the events business .
Hands on Experience in handling Events managing Operations, Logistics, Vendor , and Clients Relations
Core Competencies:
· Should be well groomed, presentable & must be innovative, flexible to changes.
· With good analytical and creative skills.
· Excellent written communication skills.
· Ability to use email, Internet applications, MS Windows operating system, MS Office Package.
· Ability to prioritize and plan workload efficiently, with a thorough and meticulous approach.
· Experience in event management is bonus.
· Have an eye for detail
Event Logistics: Coordinate and oversee all logistical aspects of an event, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
Vendor Management: Liaise with and manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors for services like catering, audiovisual equipment, and entertainment.
Staffing: Schedule, manage, and delegate tasks to event staff and volunteers.
Budget Oversight: Monitor operational costs and ensure adherence to event budgets.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all event operations meet safety and health regulations.
Problem-Solving: React quickly to and resolve any issues that arise during the event.
Venue Management: Maintain venue facilities, coordinate repairs, and ensure the space is ready for use.
Post-Event Evaluation: Oversee the creation of post-event reports, assessing success and identifying areas for improvement.
Required Skills
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage complex logistics and attention to detail.
Communication: Clear and effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Problem-Solving: The ability to address unforeseen issues and find quick, effective solutions.
Time Management: Efficiently manage tasks and schedules to meet event deadlines.
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate event staff.
Budget Management: Experience in controlling costs and managing financial resources.
