Job Description
• Department Management: Manages departmental inventories and assets, including par levels and maintenance of equipment.
• Leadership: Conducts regular meetings with event team members to discuss key initiatives and goals.
• Productivity Monitoring: Maintains attendance log for event employees to monitor productivity and engagement.
• Cleanliness Enforcement: Maintains and enforces established cleanliness levels to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Standard Adherence: Adheres to and reinforces all standards, policies, and procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality.
• Employee Engagement: Ensures employee awareness of the event phase portion of the Meeting Planner Survey and Guest Satisfaction Scores to drive improvement.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinates supplies for the event department, including equipment needs.
• Beverage Control: Uses event beverage records to guide beverage supervisor in controlling liquor costs, managing the banquet beverage perpetual inventory, and requisitioning liquor.
• Customer Focus: Understands the impact event operations has on the overall success of an event and manages activities to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Staff Scheduling: Schedules event service staff to forecast and service standards, while maximizing profits.
Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in event management or a related field. They must also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
