Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Event Planner
who will be responsible for conceptualizing, organizing, and executing events from start to finish. The ideal candidate will excel at vendor coordination, client communication, and ensuring seamless event delivery. This role requires strong negotiation, multitasking, and relationship-building skills to manage events ranging from weddings and corporate gatherings to brand activations and live shows.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept to completion.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Negotiate with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure best terms.
• Handle client meetings, understand requirements, and translate them into actionable plans.
• Prepare event proposals, checklists, and follow-up reports.
• Oversee logistics such as décor, catering, entertainment, and technical requirements.
• Ensure smooth on-ground execution and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with vendors, clients, and team members.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and creative teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.
• Stay updated with event industry trends and innovative planning ideas.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an Event Planner, Event Coordinator, or similar role (weddings, corporate events, media, or hospitality industry preferred).
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and client servicing skills.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
