Create and implement event concepts and themes; scout venue locations for events; manage event budgets and invoices; conduct market research, gather information, and negotiate contracts prior to event; promote, market, and publicize event; plan production staging for events; prepare award, giveaway, and equipment inventory; ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety regulations; coordinate staff positions, logistics, andcodes of conduct with onsite coordinator; coordinate travel and accommodation plans for event adjudicators; create and organize performance order for multiple events; coordinate catering, if applicable, for event staff and adjudicators; proactively handle any arising issues; troubleshoot problems on day of event; manage event attendant complaints; oversee set up and tear down of event staging; conduct and report pre- and post- event evaluations; other related duties as assigned.
