Responsibilities

We are seeking a Family Event Planning & Coordination Specialist to help plan a robust family holiday event

This contract role involves everything from event planning, communication, and promotion, to theme design and managing logistics for an unforgettable, family-centric experience

Organize and plan a family holiday event, managing all aspects from concept to execution

Negotiate with vendors, including venue, decor, catering, and activities

Manage decor setup, theme design, and family-oriented activities to ensure an engaging and fun atmosphere

Coordinate tourism activities, group transportation, and flight logistics for attendees

Assist with fundraising efforts to help cover event costs and facilitate participation for family members

Make phone calls and provide assistance to family members to ensure they can attend

Serve as the point of contact for communications, maintaining constant, clear communication with attendees and vendors

Broadcast event updates through text messages, manage an event website, and coordinate social media promotions

Proficient in event marketing on social media, using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and others to create buzz and excitement for the event

Utilize online and offline marketing strategies to attract attendees and donors

Develop promotional materials and coordinate marketing efforts to drive participation and engagement

Ensure the privacy and security of all attendees, handling personal and sensitive information with care

Remote/Location: Remote work with potential for on-site coordination during the event

We are seeking a Family Event Planning & Coordination Specialist to help plan a robust family holiday event. This contract role involves everything from event planning, communication, and promotion, to theme design and managing logistics for an unforgettable, family-centric experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Logistics:

Organize and plan a family holiday event, managing all aspects from concept to execution.

Negotiate with vendors, including venue, decor, catering, and activities.
