We are currently looking for a passionate Event Planning Intern, to join our Conference & Banqueting Team on a fixed term contract for 6 months, with an immediate start to consistently deliver memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences, where we care about careers and not just jobs.

As an Event Planning Intern, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:

· To oversee that the office is running smoothly and efficiently and to bring to the attention of the Conference & Banqueting Director any contravention of hotel policy

· Support daily administration tasks in the office such as menu printing, place cards, table plans, Banqueting Events Operations pack and stationary stores

· Assist with any additional administrative task as required

· Assist the operations team on the floor on the floor when required

· To maintain a close working relationship with the Chef, particularly with regard to menu planning and function amendments.

· To communicate where necessary to all other internal hotel departments to make sure that all details, changes and updates relating to their events are clearly understood.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
