Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Events and PR Manager to lead and manage in-person events, secure high-profile opportunities for our talent, and foster relationships with clients and media outlets. This individual will play a crucial role in elevating It Girl Agency's presence through workshops, podcast bookings, and curated experiences in Chicago and throughout the US.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and host It Girl Agency-specific workshops and networking events in Chicago and in the US.
• Meet with clients and influencers in person to foster relationships and align event strategies with their goals.
• Secure podcast interviews, media appearances, and collaborations for our talent.
• Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the agency's visibility and reputation.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all events and PR efforts.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics from start to finish.
• Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, venues, and industry professionals.
• Attend and represent It Girl Agency at relevant industry events and conferences.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in event planning, public relations, or related field.
• Strong network within the Chicago area and familiarity with the influencer/creator landscape.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a passion for connecting people and creating memorable experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Preferred:
• Experience working in the motherhood and / or influencer space.
• Background in media relations or talent management.
