Position Summary: Dapper Event Design and Production seeks an accomplished Event Producer to oversee the flawless execution of events. The ideal candidate embodies self-sufficiency, forward-thinking leadership, and meticulous attention to detail. They must excel in organizational prowess to effectively manage concurrent projects across multiple events. As an Event Producer, this role demands robust project management skills, exceptional leadership capabilities, and clear communication abilities. Duties/Responsibilities:
Event Production
• Oversee the comprehensive preparation, loading, setup, strike, and unloading of events to ensure flawless execution, exceptional service delivery, and adherence to Dapper’s high standards, prioritizing client satisfaction.
• Direct and empower a team of event laborers through coaching, motivation, and hands-on supervision to consistently achieve high service standards, maintain meticulous inventory management, and uphold a safe environment for all event attendees and staff.
• Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for event management, ensuring efficient setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
• Manage and schedule shifts for a team of event laborers, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective communication of event details and logistics to guarantee seamless event execution.
• Collaborate closely with the team to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and exceed both event-specific and organizational objectives, fostering continuous improvements in operational efficiency through proactive communication and optimized workflows.
• Support the Event Sales and Operations Manager by overseeing event logistics, managing day-to-day tasks and errands, and ensuring seamless operational coordination.
• Assume responsibility as the primary driver for the Dapper vehicle fleet, overseeing rental pickups, returns, and maintenance to ensure fleet readiness and operational efficiency.
• Perform any additional duties required to ensure flawless event execution and operational excellence.
Warehouse/Inventory Management
• Serve as the primary inventory expert, providing continuous training to the team on safety protocols, proper handling techniques, installation procedures, maintenance schedules, and inventory cleanliness standards.
• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse and off-site storage spaces, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization while conducting ongoing analysis for improvement.
• Establish and optimize warehouse management procedures, including inventory control, stock management, and equipment maintenance, to support seamless event operations.
• Oversee Dapper’s inventory, meticulously managing inventory cleanliness, scheduling repairs, and promptly submitting replacement requests for damaged or lost items to uphold the company’s high-quality standards.
• Stock and maintain warehouse equipment and supplies, including restocking and organizing event boxes before and after each event.
• Process and meticulously organize all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with the Event Sales and Operations Manager to replenish event supplies as necessary and maintain seamless operational support.
• Fulfill any additional duties required or assigned to maintain efficient warehouse operations and support overall organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in event management, logistics, or related fields, demonstrating a strong understanding of event operations and execution.
• 2+ years of proven supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively to achieve operational excellence.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with demonstrated proficiency in driving a 26ft box truck to ensure safe and efficient transportation of event materials.
• Flexibility in schedule, including availability for additional hours during evenings and weekends, and willingness to travel for events both within the state and nationwide.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as required in event setup and breakdown.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, maintaining composure and professionalism under stress.
• Demonstrates patience, kindness, and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with clients, vendors, and event attendees.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a solution-focused mindset, capable of adapting to changes and making quick decisions.
• Dedication to customer service excellence, prioritizing client satisfaction and maintaining a positive client relationship.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in business principles and management practices.
• Experience with inventory management, including stock control and organization.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or tools.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, emphasizing strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle client interactions with patience and kindness.
• Certification or training in safety procedures, equipment handling, or related fields.
• Knowledge of event design principles or décor styling.
Compensation and Benefits
• $70,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
