About the role
City of Parramatta have 2 permanent full-time opportunities to join our growing events team. We are seeking dynamic and experienced Event Producers to lead, develop and implement our Civic programs and Protocols.
On a daily basis you will:
Lead the development and implementation of City of Parramatta’s Civic Programs and Protocols, including Australian Citizenship ceremonies, Lord Mayoral receptions and civic events such as facility and park openings.
Plan and execute high-quality Civic events to engage with the community and key stakeholders.
Provide support and advice to senior leadership on Civic Program planning and delivery.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure compliance with protocol requirements.
Develop briefing notes, detailed event briefs and reports
Advise the Council on Civic events protocol through the creation of policy and procedural documentation
Act as Master of Ceremonies at Civic events, ceremonies and engagements as required by Council.
About You: We are looking for someone with:
Tertiary qualifications in event management, project management, or executive support to a senior level manager or team or related discipline with significant relevant experience (5 years’ experience).
Strong budget management and reporting skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work at a senior management level.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with a team.
Strong understanding of civic protocols in a Local Government environment.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $101,563 to $111,820 plus 11.5% superannuation.
