EDGE Community: A digital private members club for thought leaders.Job Description: We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Event Manager / Project Manager to join our team in Delhi. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can handle multiple responsibilities with finesse. As our Swiss Army knife, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing a variety of events, from ******** gatherings to large-scale conferences.Responsibilities: Event Planning & Execution: Plan and manage events from start to finish, ensuring every detail aligns with our objectives and exceeds expectations. Vendor Coordination: Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution. Guest Management: Coordinate and manage guest lists, ensuring a welcoming and engaging experience for all attendees. Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring all financial aspects are handled efficiently and transparently. Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and guests. Continuous Improvement: Ideate and implement strategies to enhance event success and streamline processes. Travel: Be open to traveling to other cities as required for event planning and execution. Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and team members, ensuring clarity and professionalism at all times. Additional Skills: Be inquisitive and open to learning new skills such as marketing, design, digital operations, and more. TEDxGateway: Assist in coordinating and managing speakers and work closely with the event agency for TEDxGateway.Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in event management or project management. Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in tech tools and software such as G Suite, Airtable, Luma, Notion, and ChatGPT. A knack for problem-solving and a results-oriented mindset. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Customer-service orientation and a team player. Must showcase leadership skills (It's not that you have had to lead a team, show us that you have the traits of a leader) Must have a 2-3 years of work experience managing projects/ events on ground and showcased successful execution Attributes: Well-spoken and fluent in English. Well-dressed and presentable. Enthusiastic with fresh ideas and a proactive approach. Inquisitive and keen to learn and upskill in various areas.
