Summary

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Events Sales Manager is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient of the Events projects, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services functions of the hotel.

Qualifications

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Manager- Events Sales. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee client relations and handle destination wedding clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end sales processes, conducting client meetings, and delivering exceptional customer service to achieve sales goals and ensure successful execution of destination weddings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Management: Engage with prospective clients via meetings, phone calls, emails, and site visits to understand their wedding planning needs and present customized solutions.

2. Destination Weddings Consultation: Offer expertise in various wedding destinations, suggesting venues, themes, and services tailored to client preferences.

3. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet business goals, focusing on destination wedding markets.

4. Lead Conversion: Identify and convert high-quality leads into sales through targeted sales strategies and personalized client engagement.

5. Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a seamless experience from the initial inquiry to the completion of the wedding event.

6. Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts, budgets, and packages with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and close deals effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Proven experience (3-5 years) in sales, preferably in the wedding or event management industry.

3. Strong understanding of destination wedding planning and client handling.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

5. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

7. Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visits.,
