Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, venue selection, catering, and entertainment.
Develop event budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations for each event.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
Manage on-site event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from setup to teardown.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements.
Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance business development opportunities.
Utilize account management skills to maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding upcoming events or services.
Requirements
Proven experience in event management or a related field.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs effectively.
Excellent negotiation skills for vendor contracts and pricing discussions.
Experience in business development and technical sales is a plus.
Familiarity with outside sales techniques to promote event services.
Ability to market events effectively through various channels.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of planning and execution.
Proficiency in technology sales is advantageous for managing technical aspects of events.
