Location: This position is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite at our Home Office in Chicago (River North), IL.

Position Summary:

The Event Sales Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the processes related to event sales, ensuring efficient execution and maximizing revenue across our Puttshack Venues. The Event Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for managing sales tools, systems, and data, while also coordinating with sales teams to achieve revenue and guest services objectives.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Manage Event Sales Specialists – helping them with day to day questions, troubleshooting Tripleseat and providing them support
Oversee, document, and continuously improve event sales processes, policies, and procedures to ensure best practices, efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the organization
Manage and optimize sales tools, CRM systems, and related technologies to support the event sales team's productivity and data accuracy.
Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, forecast revenue, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Collaborate with event sales teams to set targets, track progress, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional communication & implementation between sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to streamline event execution.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of sales reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Train and support sales team members on systems, processes, and tools to maximize their effectiveness and adoption.
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks or challenges that impact the event sales cycle or customer experience.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:

3-5 years Event Sales experience in restaurant/venue
1-2 years operations experience – serving, managing or working FOH in a restaurant/venue
Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once
Strong leadership skills are needed to guide and support sales teams.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
Proficient in Tripleseat, Toast POS, Microsoft Suite
Minimal travel necessary for this role, maximum travel is 10%
Highschool Diploma or GED
This position must pass a post-offer background.
Preferred Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in an entertainment venue
Tripleseat Direct Experience and understanding
Management or mentorship experience
Bachelors Degree
Physical Requirements:

Physical activities on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; frequent use of telephone/video conferencing and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting, up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this job.
