Event Security Officer

BIL SECURITY is expanding our team of Event Security Officers to serve Winnipeg, MB, and surrounding areas. We're looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct vigilant patrols throughout event venues to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
Maintain a visible and professional security presence at all times.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to control access and prevent unauthorized entry.
Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and security concerns using proper training and procedures.
Act as the first line of defense during emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Assist with crowd control and guest safety to maintain an orderly and secure environment.
Enforce event rules, venue policies, and safety regulations while addressing issues and responding to incidents as they arise.
Provide exceptional customer service to patrons, clients, and event staff while maintaining a firm and professional security posture.
Work closely with event staff, supervisors, and emergency responders to ensure smooth event operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Licensed Security Officer: Must hold a valid Manitoba security license.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, especially for report writing.
Physical Readiness: Ability to respond quickly and manage physical demands, including escorting and detaining individuals.
First Aid & CPR: A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate is required.
Premium Pay for Certified Professionals: We offer premium pay for hires who hold valid certificates in Use of Force Training (Handcuffing and Baton), NVCI or de-escalation training, and First Aid & CPR.
