Robert Half's client in the pharma industry is looking for an Event Specialist for a 2-3 week project, starting ASAP through the end of the year.
Onsite 3 days/week in Princeton NJ
Tradeshow and Conference Coordinator with experience in planning and executing tradeshows and conferences. Reporting to the Manager of Tradeshows and Conferences, this role focuses on coordinating events of varying scales for multiple business units. Entry-level candidates with relevant skills will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage small to large-scale conferences, ensuring alignment with company procedures and standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, association vendors, and third-party vendors to develop event strategies and designs.
• Act as a liaison to streamline communication between event owners and stakeholders.
• Provide innovative ideas and identify best practices to enhance event execution.
• Collaborate with the travel team to secure hotel room blocks.
• Keep internal teams updated with event details and timelines.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Meeting planning experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
