Job Description: Event & Sponsorship Coordinator – MEEPLECON (Mumbai)
About MEEPLECON
MEEPLECON is India’s premier board gaming convention, bringing together enthusiasts, families, schools, colleges, and industry stakeholders for a celebration of tabletop gaming. Every year, we create an immersive experience with tournaments, showcases, and community activities, making it one of India’s most unique gaming events.
We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Event & Sponsorship Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in driving sponsorships, partnerships, and on-ground execution.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sponsorship & Partnerships
• Identify and generate leads for potential sponsors, partners, and exhibitors.
• Develop sponsorship proposals and packages in coordination with the core team.
• Reach out to brands, corporates, and institutions to secure sponsorships.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors.
2. Event Operations & Logistics
• Coordinate with venue management and event contractors for smooth operations.
• Oversee on-ground arrangements: setup, registrations, logistics, and troubleshooting.
• Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers.
• Work with vendors for branding, merchandise, and other event requirements.
3. Promotion & Outreach
• Drive promotional activities with schools, colleges, and community groups.
• Support social media and marketing campaigns with the team.
• Represent MEEPLECON at outreach events and sessions to increase participation.

Requirements
• Graduate (Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in event management, sponsorships, or business development.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations on event days.
• Passion for gaming, youth engagement, or events is a big plus.
